Dr. Bryan Lee D. Celeste is an Associate Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at Central Mindanao University (CMU) in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon. He teaches courses in sociology, anthropology, and gender and society. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy by Research in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Newcastle in Australia. His doctoral work explored the cultural agency, power relations, and everyday resistance of the Manobo‑Pulangiyon, contributing to ongoing conversations on Indigenous sovereignty, state encounters, and the politics of negotiation in Mindanao.

Dr. Celeste is an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines under the Sociological Sciences Division. He is also actively involved in international professional networks, including the International Sociological Association (RC05 Race, Ethnicity and Indigeneity; RC34 Sociology of Youth) and the Australian Anthropological Society. He has published in Philippine Sociological Review, Palgrave McMillan, UST Press, NRCP Journal and CMU Journal of Science. His scholarly interests include cultural performance, Indigenous studies, environmental sociology, and ethnographic research. 

Raisa L. Ty is an Instructor in the Sociology Program at the University of Eastern Philippines-Main Campus in Catarman, Northern Samar. She holds a BA in Sociology at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. Her research interests focus on the sociology of gender and disaster studies.

Dr. Ricky R. Rosales holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Sociology in UP Diliman. He is an Associate Professor of Sociology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). Dr. Rosales is a seasoned broadcast news anchor in the Philippines for DZXL 558 Manila, handling a daily news and commentary program. His research interests include citizen journalism, sociology of news, political economy of media, and national identity.

Dr. Diana Therese M. Veloso is an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Department of Sociology and Behavioral Sciences at De La Salle University. In addition, she has also taught a course called Faith Worth Living for the Department of Theology and Religious Education for the past five years.

Dr. Veloso completed her master’s and doctoral degrees in Sociology and graduate certificates in Philanthropy and Community College Learning and Teaching at Loyola University Chicago. She took short courses on gender, theology, and social justice at the University of Roehampton-Catherine of Siena College in London. She completed a short course on Gender Analysis of Violence and Security: Theory, Research, and Practice, which was offered jointly by National Defense College of the Philippines and Miriam College Women and Gender Institute; she was named the Number 1 Most Engaged Fellow.

Her research focuses on gender, crime, inequality, and violence. She is a Reservist at the Philippine Navy; she holds the rank of Chief Petty Officer (CPO) and is the only woman with this rank in her cohort.

Dakila Kim P. Yee is currently a PhD student at the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance, Faculty of Business Government and Law at the University of Canberra, Australia. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines Tacloban. He has been teaching and doing academic research in the Philippines for the past 15 years.

His previous research explored various themes such as the urban political ecology of disaster reconstruction in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan, critical environmental conservation studies, and state-civil society relationship on environmental issues in the Philippines. His research has been published in the following journals: Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints, Journal of Sociology, Critical Asian Studies, and Peace Review. He is currently interested in the intersection of populism, environmental politics, and sustainability transitions.
