The Philippine Sociological Review welcomes submissions for the Special Issue “Imagined Democracies: Transformations of Power in Philippine Society.”

This Special Issue aims to bring together manuscripts that critically examine the ways in which democracy is enacted, embodied, contested and negotiated in contemporary Philippines. The Special Issue welcomes papers drawing from various epistemological and methodological traditions, and is particularly keen to review theoretical papers that engage with recent debates on the topic.
