Dr. Nicole Curato, a sociologist from the Australian National University and Secretary of the Philippine Sociological Society is the recipient of this year’s Ten Outstanding Young Men (/People) for the field of Sociology.

Dr. Curato is best known for her work on theory and practice of deliberative democracy. She was the lead convener of UP’s Fact Check Project and a regular contributor at Rappler.com.
