Prof. Randolf “ Randy” S. David will deliver a lecture on “Making Sense of Issues: Philippine Transition to Modern Society” on February 21, 2017, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the University Gymnasium of MSU-GenSan Fatima Campus. This forum is sponsored by the College of Social Sciences and Humanities Student Organization (CSSHSO) and the Department of Sociology of the Mindanao State University – General Santos City in partnership with the MSU-GenSan Faculty Union and the Philippine Sociological Society.

On the same day, the MSU GenSan Department of Sociology and Philippine Sociological Society will hold a regional book launch of “Understanding Philippine Society, Culture and Politics” with Prof. Randy David, 1:00 PM at the Graduate School Audio Visual Room of MSU GenSan, CETD Campus, General Santos City. Social science teachers, policy makers, local officials, trade union leaders, church workers, NGO workers and political activists are invited to attend the Forum and the Book Launch.

Prof. Randy David is an author and a Professor Emeritus of the Department of Sociology, University of the Philippines, Diliman.
