The Philippine League of Sociological Students hosted a forum entitled MediaLubyo: A Sociological Exploration on Social Media and Disaster last 4 September. Dr Jonathan Corpus Ong from the University of Leicester was the guest speaker. Next month, Dr. Ong will be one of the plenary speakers in the PSS National Conference in MSU-General Santos City.
