When the field site literally gets closer and shares your home.
This week, UP Diliman opened its safe space for the Lumad. They are housed at a Kampuhan site from the 26th-30th and many activities are lined as a call to action against various human rights violations done to their people.
Young sociologists visit the Kampuhan to hear about personal narratives among the Lumad victims. Junior faculty members also invite their students in this one-of-kind field arrangement.
